2. Das Wichtigste zuerst

HesaCut bearbeitet deine Videos im Browser auf deinem Gerät. Clips, Bilder, Töne, Musik und Projekte werden nicht an uns übertragen. Sie liegen im Speicher deines Browsers (IndexedDB) und lassen sich unter Konto → „Lokale Daten löschen“ oder über die Browsereinstellungen entfernen. Wir setzen keine Cookies zu Werbe- oder Analysezwecken ein und verwenden keine Tracking-Dienste.

3. Aufruf der Website und Server-Protokolle

Die Website wird von einem eigenen Server bei der Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Deutschland, ausgeliefert. Beim Aufruf verarbeitet der Server technisch notwendige Daten: IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Datei, übertragene Datenmenge und Browserkennung. Zweck sind die Auslieferung der Website und die Abwehr von Angriffen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Hetzner verarbeitet diese Daten in unserem Auftrag (Art. 28 DSGVO). Protokolle werden nur so lange gespeichert, wie es für diese Zwecke erforderlich ist.

4. Speicherung auf deinem Gerät

Wir speichern im Browser: Spracheinstellung, Farbmodus, Editor-Einstellungen, deine Anmeldung (Sitzungsschlüssel) sowie Projekte und Medien. Das ist für die von dir gewünschte Funktion unbedingt erforderlich (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG). Schriften und Bilder liefern wir selbst aus, es gibt keine Verbindung zu Google Fonts oder anderen Schriftdiensten.

5. Benutzerkonto

Für die Nutzung von HesaCut ist ein kostenloses Konto nötig. Dafür verarbeiten wir deine E-Mail-Adresse und dein Passwort (nur als Prüfwert gespeichert, nicht im Klartext) sowie Bestätigungscodes, um das Konto zu führen und ein Pro-Abo zuzuordnen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Die Daten bleiben gespeichert, bis du das Konto löschst; das geht jederzeit unter Konto → „Konto löschen“. Bestätigungs-E-Mails versenden wir über ein E-Mail-Postfach bei der Porkbun LLC, Portland, USA. Dabei werden deine E-Mail-Adresse und der Inhalt der Nachricht in die USA übermittelt; die Übermittlung ist für den Versand der von dir angeforderten Nachricht erforderlich (Art. 49 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

6. Schutz vor Missbrauch

Bei Anmeldung und Registrierung löst dein Browser eine kleine Rechenaufgabe, mit der wir automatisierte Zugriffe erkennen. Dafür werden keine Cookies gesetzt und keine Drittanbieter eingebunden. Deine IP-Adresse wird kurzzeitig verarbeitet, um zu viele Versuche zu bremsen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

7. Zahlungen (Pro-Abo)

Kaufst du ein Pro-Abo, leiten wir dich zur Bezahlseite der Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Irland, weiter. Stripe verarbeitet Name, E-Mail-Adresse und Zahlungsdaten zur Abwicklung der Zahlung. Eine Übermittlung an die Stripe, Inc. in den USA ist möglich; Stripe ist nach dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und c DSGVO. Rechnungsrelevante Daten bewahren wir so lange auf, wie es steuer- und handelsrechtlich vorgeschrieben ist. Kündigst oder widerrufst du, speichern wir Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, Vorgangsnummer und Ergebnis drei Jahre als Nachweis (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c und f DSGVO) und senden dir eine Bestätigung per E-Mail.

8. Kontakt

Schreibst du uns über das Kontaktformular oder per E-Mail, öffnet sich dein E-Mail-Programm; wir verarbeiten deine Angaben, um die Anfrage zu beantworten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. f DSGVO), und löschen sie, wenn sie nicht mehr benötigt werden.

9. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch gegen Verarbeitungen auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Art. 21). Wende dich dafür an info@hesatech.de. Du kannst dich außerdem bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren (Art. 77 DSGVO), zum Beispiel bei der Landesbeauftragten für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf.

10. Android-App (Google Play)

Die HesaCut-App aus Google Play zeigt diese Website in Google Chrome an (Trusted Web Activity). Es gelten dieselben Hinweise wie oben: Deine Clips, Fotos und Töne bleiben auf deinem Gerät, und die App erhebt keine weiteren Daten. Für Kamera und Mikrofon fragen Android und Chrome vorher um Erlaubnis. Beim Herunterladen und Aktualisieren der App verarbeitet die Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, Daten nach ihrer eigenen Datenschutzerklärung (policies.google.com/privacy); wir erhalten von Google nur zusammengefasste Statistiken, etwa zu Installationen und Abstürzen. In der App kannst du nichts kaufen. Dein Konto löschst du in der App unter Konto → „Konto löschen“ oder über Konto löschen.

2. The essentials

HesaCut edits your videos in the browser on your device. Clips, images, sound, music and projects are not transferred to us. They stay in your browser's storage (IndexedDB) and can be removed under Account → "Delete local data" or in your browser settings. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no tracking services.

3. Visiting the website and server logs

The website is delivered from our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested file, amount of data and browser identifier, in order to deliver the website and fend off attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hetzner processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.

4. Storage on your device

We store in your browser: language, colour mode, editor settings, your sign-in (session key), projects and media. This is strictly necessary for the function you request (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). We serve fonts and images ourselves; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other font services.

5. User account

Using HesaCut requires a free account. For it we process your email address and password (stored only as a hash, never in plain text) and confirmation codes to run the account and link a Pro subscription. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is kept until you delete the account, which you can do at any time under Account → "Delete account". We send confirmation emails through a mailbox at Porkbun LLC, Portland, USA; your email address and the message are transferred to the USA because this is necessary to send the message you requested (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Abuse protection

When you sign in or register, your browser solves a small computing task that helps us detect automated access. No cookies are set and no third parties are involved. Your IP address is processed briefly to slow down excessive attempts. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Payments (Pro subscription)

If you buy Pro, we redirect you to the payment page of Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland, which processes name, email address and payment data. A transfer to Stripe, Inc. in the USA is possible; Stripe is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. Billing records are kept as long as tax and commercial law require. If you cancel or withdraw, we keep your name, email address, time, reference number and result for three years as proof (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR) and send you a confirmation by email.

8. Contact

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, your email program opens; we process your details to answer (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when no longer needed.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf.

10. Android app (Google Play)

The HesaCut app from Google Play shows this website in Google Chrome (Trusted Web Activity). The information above applies in the same way: your clips, photos and sounds stay on your device, and the app collects no further data. Android and Chrome ask for your permission before using the camera and microphone. When you download and update the app, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, processes data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy); we only receive aggregated statistics from Google, for example on installs and crashes. You cannot buy anything in the app. You can delete your account in the app under Account → “Delete account” or via Delete account.
